A few simple rules to take care of Mother Nature; try to learn them by heart!
- I will take my rubbish (picnic wrappers, film containers, etc...) away with me. I'll keep them all in my pocket or back pack to be thrown away in a rubbish bin later.
- I'll always walk on the footpaths as I don't want to crush or trample on any rare plants.
- I will leave all the flowers where they are growing. I know it's wrong to pull up a protected plant.
- I won't pick up any stones or fossils. If everyone did that, all the treasures in the Reserve would disappear
- I won't strike a match, especially when I'm in the garrigue, for it could easily start a fire.
- I'll leave my car or motorbike in the carpark. That way I won't make any noise, cause any pollution, or damage the Reserve.
- I'll only camp in an authorized campsite. I know that camping and bivouacking are not authorized in the Roque-Haute Nature Reserve
- I won't bring my dog, for no animals (even if they are on a lead) are allowed on the Reserve for fear of them harming the protected ones. Neither will I let any animals loose in the wild; they might prey on other animals or compete with protected species.

If I and my friends take these simple precautions, we will be able to continue to walk in beautiful places and we'll be doing our bit to save species and habitats that are in danger.
